The Databases tab of the Virtual Database Wizard allows you to specify the databases you want to mount and the general location of the corresponding archive files. You can select:
- Repository - use this option when the backup files reside in your repository. Choose the SQL Server where the virtual database to be mounted is backed up, then select the database you want to mount.
- File System - use this option when the archive file was written to the local File System. Type the path from the network share or local drive and click ADD. This path must be accessible by the Backup Agent installed on the Agent Computer.
- Target Server - use this option when a network share is available on a remote file system (Target Server). Type the respective path and click ADD.
Please note that you can only select one database at a time.
Once you select the database for your mount operation, click NEXT to select backup sets.
