The Purge Process option under options help you to prevent locking up collections for SQL Workload Analysis. Under the Administration tab allows you to change , the PMDB Purge schedule or run the PMDB Purge process right away.section displays the following options:
Alter Purge Schedule
When you select the Purge Schedule Details, you can the Edit Purge Details dialog opens, set the Start Date and Time for of the Purge Process, change the recurrence by weeks, and select the selected preferred days . for the process.

Purge PMDB Now
When you select this he PMDB purge job option, the PMDB purge job process is triggered as it was configured during the installation process.
