The Remapping ODBC DSNs dialog enables you to migrate from 32-bit ODBC DSNs to 64-bit ODBC DSNs.

Note

Only 32-bit DSNs need to be remapped. If your User or System DSN is 32-bit and 64-bit or just 64-bit, then you DO NOT need to remap the ODBC DSNs.

To remap a ODBC DSN...

  1. Right-click on the Connection category and select Remap ODBC DSNs.

The Remap DSNs for ODBC connections dialog is displayed. All ODBC connections for the selected category are listed.
  2. From the Remap DSNs for ODBC connections dialog, click on Map to DSN drop-down list for a connection and select a DSN to map to from the drop-down list.

    Tip

If a DSN is not found, enter the name of DSN in the Map to DSN field to map to.

  3. Click OK to complete the remapping.
To check Remapping ODBC DSNs has occurred:
Right click on the connection name in the repository and select Properties.

On the Edit connection dialog you can see the ODBC DSN data source has been changed to the one selected on the Remap DSNs for ODBC connections dialog.
