Change the Newsfeed administrator

  • Created by Nadja Pollard on Jun 05, 2017 1 minute read

By default, the IDERA Newsfeed does not have an administrator. Consider choosing the same person who is responsible for administrating your SQLDM installation.

The Newsfeed administrator should be someone who can be contacted when important issues occur within the Newsfeed deployment, such as SQLDM Mobile & Newsfeed losing the connection to the SQLDM Mobile Repository database. When you specify the Newsfeed administrator, you provide the name, email, and work phone or mobile phone.

Follow these steps to set a Newsfeed administrator:

  1. Start the IDERA Newsfeed Platform Manager console.
  2. Click the Administrator tab.
  3. Specify the appropriate settings.
  4. Click Save.
