- Ensure your environment includes supported installations of Microsoft Report Services, and note the configuration settings. For more information, see Reporting Services requirements.
- Start the Management Console and navigate to the Audit Reports view.
- Under Reporting Services, click Deploy Reports.
- On the Welcome window, click Next.
- Specify the name of the Report Server computer hosting Microsoft Reporting Services and any advanced configuration settings, such as a dedicated port, and then click Next.
- Specify the following Repository connection settings, and then click Next.
- Name of the SQL Server instance that is hosting the target Repository
- Credentials of the Windows account the Report Server should use to connect to the Repository databases
- Specify the name of the virtual folder Reporting Services will use to store the reports (RDL files) and choose whether to overwrite any previously deployed reports, and then click Next.
- If you choose to not overwrite reports, the wizard deploys only the new reports included in this release. The wizard will not deploy updated reports.
- On the Summary window, click Next.
- Review the progress. When deployment is complete, click OK.
- To start using the deployed reports, click View Deployed Reports under Reporting Services on the Audit Reports view. This link opens the Report Manager interface on the Report Server.
