The Idera IDERA Dashboard SQL CM Home tab is the default home page of the product. This tab provides a high-level status of your audited instances and SQL Server alerts occurring within your environment.

All audited SQL Server instances in your environment appear in the Audited SQL Servers section of the Home tab. The default sort order displays the first five instances based on instance name. If you have more than five registered instances, SQL CM Compliance Manager allows you to page through the results. This table includes:

  • SQL Server. Displays the name of the audited SQL Server instance.
  • Agent Status. Displays the current status of the SQL CM Compliance Manager Agent. Options include OK, Informational, Warning, and Critical.
  • Enabled Event Categories. Displays the total number of SQL Server event categories, such as Security, DDL, Administrative, etc., that you are using to filter from your audit data.
  • Collected Events. Displays the total number of SQL Server events collected based on the enabled event categories.
  • Number of Databases. Displays the total number of audited databases.
  • Last Heartbeat. Displays the most recent date and time that the SQLcompliance Agent deployed for this instance contacted the Collection Server..

Click the name of a database, and SQL CM Compliance Manager opens the Audited Database view for that database.

My CM Environment area

On the right side of the Idera IDERA Dashboard overview, SQL CM Compliance Manager provides a summary your environment that includes:

  • Registered SQL Server instances. Displays the total number of SQL Server instances registered in SQL CMCompliance Manager.
  • Audited SQL Server instances. Displays the total number of SQL Server instances audited in SQL CMCompliance Manager.
  • Audited databases. Displays the total number of databases audited in SQL CMCompliance Manager.
  • Processed events. Displays the current total number of audit events stored in the Repository event databases. This number does not include events previously archived or groomed.

In addition, SQL CM Compliance Manager includes a nested, selectable list of the items in your environment.

Click a database name, and SQL CM Compliance Manager opens the Individual Database view for that database. Click a SQL Server instance name, and SQL CM Compliance Manager opens the Individual SQL Server view for that instance.

Audited SQL Servers area

On the right side of the Idera IDERA Dashboard overview, SQL CM Compliance Manager provides an instance and database tree for you to click and quickly access a specific instance or database.
