Let's say that you used the table calculation "% Of Total.." from the numbers below
| 12 | 123 | 41 | 3 | 6 | 9 | 3 | 197 |
Your total is 197.
Visual Analytics will traverse the row calculating the % of total for each column. Below, we are highlighting with red to indicate the result of the calculation. You would see
| 12 | 6.1% | 123 | 62.4% | 41 | 21% | 3 | 1.5% | 6 | 3.0% | 9 | 4.5% | 3 | 1.5% | 197 | 100% |
So at a glance, you can see what the percentage of the total each value is.
