The Build process uses the definitions from the associated files (created when the package is saved) to create the required folders, run any necessary exports, and copy the required objects into the package structure. If you have included any cross referenced objects in the package, they will be resolved during the build.
The final phase in the build process generates WIX XML source files which are then compiled and converted into MSI and MSP files by the WIX toolset.
Package build is not supported on a network client installation.
