To create an Index, right-click on the Indexes container for a database (or database table) and select Create Index. The resulting Create Index window allows for naming the index, selecting the index's schema, choosing its table columns, and setting index options. The options available when creating an index vary based on database vendor and version. The Sequence and Order (Ascending or Descending) of the selected columns is set within the Indexed Columns pane by clicking on them. the Preview SQL tab displays the DDL generated to create the Index.
