To change the discovery options for a source system:

Apply any relevant Filter options by clicking on the Filter options button on the Add a new source dialog.

Filter options

Description

Table types

By default, WhereScape 3D defaults table types to just Tables and Views. This option is not available when discovering a file connection.

  • Select a Table types checkbox from the list to turn table types on.
  • Clear a checbox to turn off a table type.

Include table name(s) / Include file(s)

Use wild card syntax to include just the required database objects (or files when discovering a file connection). WhereScape 3D defaults this field to %, that is include all database objects (or files).
