  1. Click the Source mapping creation button in the diagram toolbar.
  2. Click the relevant table in the source system tree and drag it onto a table in the diagram.

    Multiple tables can be selected and dragged onto a table in the diagram to create source mappings.
    The Choose source mapping set dialog is displayed as shown in the following screenshot:
  3. Select the Choose source mapping set radio button and select a source mapping set from the drop-down list or select the Create source mapping set to create a new source mapping set.
  4. Click the OK button. The Source mappings properties window for the table is displayed with the columns from the source entities that exists in the target entity automatically mapped. Refer to Adding a Source Mapping via Source Mapping tab for details.
  5. Click OK.

    Another way to add the source mappings for a table is to double click on the header part of the table to bring up the Properties screen screen, select thethe Source mappings tab and manually enter the source mappings using the button. Refer to Source Mappings for details.
