The Creating a Star Schema wizard enables you to create a star schema from source data.
To generate a star schema...
- Select an a model version and select REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/data_warehouse.png
Create star schema from the Workflow pane.
The Create star schema-Category configuration dialog is displayed.

- If needed complete the following... :
- Click on an entity type, click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/renamequeryicon.png
and modify the Name Prefix and Name suffix for the selected entity type. - Click on an attribute, click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/renamequeryicon.png and modify the name for the selected attribute.
- Click on an entity type, click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/renamequeryicon.png
- Click Click Next.
The Create star schema - Model definition dialog is displayed.
...
- Enter a a Name, Version for the model and click Create.
The Create star schema - Initial core concept design dialog is displayed.
...
- Select the entities to create the initial core concept design and click click Finish.
The diagram is displayed.
