The application will need to provide the ability to configure constant collection for queries, with the option to collect on long running queries, and save them for a specified period of time.

Advanced Query monitoring

When this option is enabled active queries data is collected constantly. if you disable it, SQL BI only collects data from active queries at the time of collection.

Poorly performing queries

To collect information only on poorly performing queries, select the option poorly performing queries. When you enable this option the other options are disabled,
