SQL Enterprise Job Manager displays a Calendar view of all your executed instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains in containers. Each container provides a numeric value that represents the number of instances/jobs/tasks/job chains that exists within the time slot (row) in the Calendar.

You can identify your  instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains with the following colors:


  • brown - instances
  • blue - jobs
  • green - tasks
  • yellow - job chains

By default, the Schedule tab displays your current date instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains in a Day calendar view; however, you can change this setting to view them by:

SQL Enterprise Job Manager displays all instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains of your selected day and identifies them with the following colors:

  • brown - instances
  • blue - jobs
  • green - tasks
  • yellow - job chains

The Day view displays instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains on on their respective time slots and according to their duration.

Tip

Hover over jobs, tasks, job chains or time slot to get into the Snapshot view. This view displays the Instance and the Average Runtime of your selection at that particular time. For example: click on Jobs, the Snapshot view will display only Jobs for that particular time slot on which the clicked Job exists.

Additionally, you can view specific details of your selection on the Operation list, such as: Outcome, Status, Type, Start Time (GMT), Start Time (Local), Start Time (Server), Maximum Runtime, Average Runtime.

Viewing your information by week

If you select set the Start and End date filter to view your information by Week, SQL Enterprise Job Manager changes to a weekly view with the days of the week of your current dateyou selected. You can modify this week by going to the calendar option on the left side or your top section of the Scheduled tab and selecting a date select the dates of the week you require. 

The weekly view displays all instances, jobs and tasks per , tasks, and job chains per day for each day of the selected week. You can identify the status of jobs and tasks with the following colors:

  • red - failed job
  • yellow - canceled job
  • green - succeeded job
  • blue - running
  • light blue - scheduled job 
  • gray - retry

To view all jobs and tasks in a specific time slot, click the ellipsis button Image Removed at the right end of the time slot and SQL Enterprise Job Manager opens a Job/Tasks schedules window with all jobs and tasks that belong to the same time slot. In this list, you can find the job or task name, instance, status, start time/date, and run duration information. Additionally, you can find the Export option in this new window, select your preferred format (CSV, PDF, or XML) to export all jobs and tasks available in the selected time slot.

 If you want to see with more detail details, click the instances, jobs and , tasks for a day, click the date at the top , or job chains of the calendar view, and SQL Enterprise Job Manager opens the Day Snaspshot view of the selected day and time.   

Tip

For example: click on Jobs, the Snapshot view will display only Jobs for that particular time slot on which the clicked Job exists.

Month

If you select set the Start and End date filter to view your jobs information by by Month, SQL Enterprise Job Manager displays a monthly view corresponding to your current date. 

The Month view displays a job and summary status in all instances, jobs, tasks, and job chains per day for each day of the month. The summary status includes if there are Running jobs, Failed runs, Successful runs, Canceled runs, or Scheduled runs. selected month. If you want to see with more detail details, click the instances, jobs and , tasks for a day, click the number , or job chains of the respective calendar dayview, and SQL Enterprise Job Manager opens the Day the Snaspshot view of the selected day and time.
