• To enable a single existing instrumentation configuration that was not enabled by default, you can enable this configuration by uncommenting the reference to the file in the InstrumenterConfigList.xml file.

• To change the instrumentation instructions within a specific instrumentation configuration file, for example to instrument a stpecific specific method, you would modify the Custom.xml file (or any other instrumenter configuration XML file). In addition, you must verify that this instrumentation configuration file is enabled in the InstrumenterConfigList.xml file.

  By default, the custom instrumentation configuration files are located in the instrumenter directory: <i3_root>/products/i3fp/registry/products/j2ee/config/instrumenter. All relative paths of referenced configuration files are relative to this directory.
