SQL Safe provides you with CLI commands to help you manually create a new policyedit your policies.
To create edit policies use the following commandcommands:
- SQLsafeCmd CreateEdit-Policy <policy_type> name> [options]
- SQLsafeCmd Edit-Policy <policy_name> GUID> [options]
Where:
Action | Description |
---|---|
<policy_type>name> | Type Name of the policy.Valid types: Restore, Backup, LogShipping. |
<policy_name>GUID> | Name GUID of the policy. |

The following advanced options help you create edit policies:

-ArgsFile <filename> | The path to a file containing command-line arguments. <filename> - specifies the file that contains the command line arguments. |
