1. Download the latest Build List file from http://www.idera.com/files/SQLServerVersionList.xml
2. Rename the downloaded file to SQLServerVersions.xml.
3. In the File Explorer, navigate to the installation directory for SQL Inventory Manager (e.g. C:\Program FilesGo to the folder ~\Idera\SQLInventoryManager).Drill into the CollectionService subdirectory\CollectionService.
4. Replace the existing SQLServerVersionsSQLServerVersion.xml with the newly downloaded file.
5. Log into SQL Inventory Manager and navigate to Instances > Patches.
6. Click the Check for New Build List button.
7. Click OK on the dialog window indicating that the new build list was found and downloaded.
8. Restart the SQL Inventory Manager Services (Idera SQL Inventory Manager Collector Services and Idera SQL Inventory Manager Rest Service).
