You can use the Management Console to view the properties of the SQL Server event that triggered a given alert.
To view the event data for an alert:
- Select Audited SQL Servers or an individual SQL Server instance in the Explore Activity tree.
- On the Alerts tab, right-click the alert for which you want to view event details, and then select Event Properties on the context menu.
- Review the event details, and then click Close.
