Before you begin to change the LANSA Communication Extensions on the IBM i task, check the following:

  • Do you have a user profile with authority to the LANSA system?
  • Has TCP/IP been configured on the IBM i? By default, the listener will use port 4545.

Go to Step 1. Work with Configuration Items.
