Web technologies are evolving very quickly making it difficult for developers to keep on top of the game. LANSA's goal has always been to provide a single programming language that insulates developers from changes in the underlying web technology on both the server and the client.

To produce web-based applications, Visual LANSA takes full advantage of component-based techniques previously available in LANSA, including use of the LANSA repository and reusable parts that can be used on Windows, Web, 5250 and Linux.
