Before you can use the LANSA Client Tutorial, the LANSA Client Tutorial database needs to be available to your PC.

• If your PC is a slave to an IBM i system, then you can use the tutorial files on the IBM i if they are set up as described in Set up the Tutorial files on an IBM i Host.
• If your PC is a slave to a Visual LANSA system on a Windows PC, then you can import the files from the host Visual LANSA system.
• Alternatively, and regardless of whether your PC is a master or slave Visual LANSA system, you can set up your own tutorial files using the following steps:
  • Step 1. Create the New Partition
  • Step 2. Use other Languages
