Details
For variable-order polynomial curves a value of 1 produces a straight line (same as best fit); a value 1 less than the number of points produces a curve that passes through all points.
For moving average mid and end curves, the value is the range of data points over which moving averages are averaged beginning with the first point.
For all other curve types, this property is ignored.
