Introducing Precise 10.4.3
Precise version 10.4.3 is a complete Precise version, which includes some improvements described in the Resolved Issues section of this pagespecifically targets the simplification of the installation experience for Precise version 10.4.3 and support for advanced encryption key algorithms for ssh sessions are added, Tomcat vulnerabilities have fixed by upgrading to Tomcat 9 Server.
Installing Precise 10.4.3
Apply Precise 10.4.3 using one of the following paths, depending upon the currently-installed Precise version:
- If this is the first time you are installing Precise, install Precise version 10.4.3 as described in Clean installation of the Precise framework.
- If Precise 10.4.3 2 is your currently-installed version, upgrade directly to Precise 10.4.3 as described in Upgrading Precise.

There are no new features for Precise 10.4.3 but there are some resolved issues, which you may review in the next section.

- Upgraded to Tomcat v9.0.108 across all frameworks (PRECISE-19629).
Precise ssh communications use diffie-hellman-group1-sha1 key exchange method (PRECISE-19802).
- SQL statement fails to get displayed using New and Edit text option and no message display on the popup (PRECISE-19804).
- PeopleSoft tuxedo agent verification is throwing errors (PRECISE-19807).
- Oracle Tuner on Windows not tuning some of the SQL Statements (PRECISE-19836).

Known Issues
For Precise for SQL Server, you must restart the Precise Focal Point after an upgrade if you are using remote instances. You also must start the SQL agents after the Focal Point restart.
When an Oracle monitoring instance is created immediately after framework installation, errors can occur in Oracle warehouse processes located under Adminpoint > Warehouse Processes. In such cases, restart the Oracle Focal Point and PMDB focal point to resolve the problems.
- Some of the binaries from the Precise 10.4.1 3 installer appear as a threat under AVG antivirus. This is a false positive with AVG and does not cause any problems. You may want to whitelist when using AVG as antivirus.Other issues:
- Linux Oracle users may see an error that a SQL statement fails to appear when using the New and Edit text option, and no message displays in the popup window. (PRECISE-19804) Peoplesoft Tuxedo agent verification occasionally results in an error. (PRECISE-19807)
- If data collection is not working after you successfully install an OS/insight agent, then it is recommended to restart all services of Precise i3fp.
- Precise for SQL Server monitoring and repository database depends on SQL Server Native Client 11.0 for connecting to the database. Because SQL Server Native Client 11.0 does not ship with SQL server 2019 and later, it is recommended that you install the native client before attempting to install Precise.
