You can take a snapshot of your audit settings on demand, to meet immediate audit needs or diagnose issues.
To capture an audit snapshot:
- Click Auditing on the menu bar, and then select Capture Audit Snapshot.
- Specify whether you want a snapshot of audit settings for all registered SQL Server instances or for a specific instance, and then click OK.
- Review the newly captured snapshot.
