Most business workflows require the same files, databases, and command-line terminals to be accessed multiple times every day. Keeping dozens or hundreds of them organized and readily available takes time that could be spent working. If these frequently-accessed scripts, SSH connections and QA environments aren't available in a few clicks, valuable time is lost as users search and browse to find them. We've introduced Shortcut Toolbar Folders to make accessing and organizing those most-used files, databases, scripts and queries even faster.

For faster access to files, servers, AquaScripts, and URLs, the Aqua Data Studio IDE allows creating and grouping shortcuts into Shortcut Toolbar Folders. Organizing shortcuts into folders means an entire folder's worth of content (SSH terminals, Databases, Files, Web URLs) can be opened immediately with a single click. Items in the Shortcut Toolbar can be rearranged, deleted, or have their properties altered via the Shortcut Toolbar Manager. Think of the Shortcut Toolbar as a web browser bookmark tool for Aqua Data Studio.

Support for opening all shortcuts in tabs

Once several shortcuts have been placed in a folder, all of a folder's shortcuts can be opened at the same time through the use of the right-click context menu "Open all in Tabs". As an example, all of a user's PostgreSQL database connections can be grouped in a single folder and opened simultaneously in separate tabs with a single click.
