It provides information including the SQL statement name, if whether the outline is enabled or not, and the Name, Category, and Hints associated with the outline. Additionally, the Drop parameter specifies if whether it is dropped or not at execution time.
In order to view outlines, the session needs to have USE_STORED_OUTLINES=true set prior to execution. Outlines in tuning are created for the DEFAULT category, by default. Use the following commands to enable outlines with the default settings:
