The Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express database is shipped with the Visual LANSA software. If a supported database is not found, the Microsoft SQL Server 2019 Express database will be installed. The Express edition is generally suitable for Visual LANSA development but it is the least feature-rich edition of all SQL Server editions. It is recommended that you visit Microsoft's SQL Server website to determine which edition best suits your needs, paying particular attention to limits such as maximum cores, maximum memory, and maximum database size.
