You can groom alerts from the Repository. When you groom alerts, SQL compliance manager IDERA SQL Compliance Manager deletes all alert messages that are older than the age (in days) you specify. You can groom alerts generated by events from all registered SQL Server instances or from selected instances. Grooming ensures that the Repository contains only the alert data you need.

To groom alerts:

  1. Click Alerting on the menu bar, and then select Groom Alerts Now.
  2. Specify the appropriate settings, and then click OK.
