If you no longer wish to monitor an instance, IDERA SQL Inventory Manager allows you to remove instances that you no longer wish to monitorfrom monitoring and move them to the Ignored Tab.

You can access this option on the following views:

• Home tab - The Remove option is located on the gear icon next to the instance you want to remove.
• Instance details view - The Remove option is located on the gear icon next to the instance you want to remove.
• Instances tab > >  Managed by Instances view - The Remove option is located on the gear icon next to the instance you want to removedisable, or under or under the More Actions on button Image Added  on the action items bar. Note that you must select at least one instance to have this option enabled.
• Instances tab > > SQL Licensing Licensing by Instances  view - The  The Remove option is located on located on the gear icon next to the instance you want to removedisable, or under More Actions on button Image Added on the action items bar. Note that you must select at least one instance to have this option enabled.
• Overview tab - Gear icon next to the respective instance.  
• Instance details view - Action items bar.

If When you remove an instance, IDERA SQL Inventory Manager no Manager no longer monitors that instance, deletes all associated data from the database, and adds the instance to the list of ignored instances.
