You can specify those computers where you want SQL Inventory Manager to discover SQL Server instances. The Manage Discovery Options allows you to specify not only those computers where you want the discovery to be performed but you can also choose which methods you want to use to search in each computerallows you to specify alternate credentials to use during the discovery process in case the original credentials are not valid. Manage Discovery Credentials lets you enter multiple discovery credentials and specify the order in which you want SQL Inventory Manager to attempt to use when connecting to a server.

To configure these options, go to Manage Discovery Options on Credentials on the Administration tab.
