  1. Precise 10.0.0 extends the new user interface based on modern UI technologies to the Applications side of Precise. For more information about the new GUI including specific known issues and limitations, see Precise Insight. Precise for Oracle basics
  2. Enhancements have been made to allow monitoring of SQL Server instances when using TLS 1.2 without requiring FIPS to be enabled. See Appendix B for more details.
  3. Support has been added for using TLS 1.2 enabled instances as PMDB database. See Appendix B for pre-requisites for this.
  4. Support has been added for monitoring SQL Server instances configured in an Always On environment. See Appendix C for more details.

  6. The need for .NET 2.0 on the machine where Precise installer is run has been removed.
  7. Precise for SQL Server now uses the SQL Server Native Client 11.0 driver by default instead of the legacy SQL Server and OLEDB drivers. Due to this, we now have a prerequisite that the SQL Server Native Client 11.0 driver should be available on the following machines:
    1. Servers from which SQL Server instances are monitored;
    2. Machine from where framework installation is run;
    3. Machines on which Precise Focal Point, PMDB Focal Point and Precise for SQL Server Focal Points are installed
