SQL Safe provides you with CLI commands to help you manually create a new policyedit your policies.

 

To create edit policies use the following commandcommands:
  • SQLsafeCmd CreateEdit-Policy <policy_type> name> [options]
  • SQLsafeCmd Edit-Policy <policy_name> GUID> [options]

 

Where:
ActionDescription
<policy_type>name>Type Name of the policy.Valid types: Restore, Backup, LogShipping.
<policy_name>GUID>

 Name GUID of the policy.

The path to a file containing command-line arguments.

<filename> - specifies the file that contains the command line arguments.
