Custom Discovery

1. From the Choose discovery type window, select the Custom radio button, as shown in the following screenshot:

1. Click the Next button.The Custom discovery screen is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot:

1. Select the checkboxes for the objects to be discovered and click Next if you want to edit the entity types to be discovered, else click Discover to skip steps 4-5 and begin the discovery.

   Tip
   A warning will appear in the dialog if you are about to overwrite tables. Click on the Help button to bring up the warning message: REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/discovery/warning_custom.png

2. The Choose entity types screen is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot:

4. Select the entity types to be discovered. Click Next if you want to edit the table filters, else click Discover to skip step 5 and begin the discovery.The Choose table filters screen is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot:

1. Edit the table filters by entering filters for entity names to be included or excluded. Click Discover.The Source System discovery dialog is displayed, as shown in the following screenshot:
