Managing Target Location Descriptors

To create a Target Location Descriptor...

1. Select Tools>Target location descriptors.

1. The Target location descriptors dialog is displayed.

1. Select a repository and click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/addqueryicon.png to Add a target location descriptor.

REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Entities/Managing Target Location Descriptors_2.png

1. Enter a Target location name and click OK. The target location descriptor is added.
2. From the RDBMS drop-down list, select the appropriate relational database management system or enter a new database management system name.

   Tip
   Even though the RDBMS field is a drop-down list, you can type a database management system name (if it is not in the list).

3. REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Entities/Managing Target Location Descriptors_3.png
4. Click OK.

   Icons	Description
   REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/renamequeryicon.png	Click to Edit the selected target location descriptor.
   REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/copyqueryicon.png	Click to make a Copy of the selected target location descriptor.
   REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/removequeryicon.png	Click to Delete the selected target location descriptor.
