The Assign Attribute Type Wizard enables you to bulk assign attribute types across a model thus helping you to quickly mark up a model with the attribute type.
To assign attribute types for a model or to create a new definition...
- Select a model version in the tree and select REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/attribute_type_assign.png Assign attribute types from the Workflow pane.The Assign attribute types - Select entities dialog is displayed.

- Select the entities and click Next>.The Assign attributes types - Define assigning definition dialog is displayed.

- To Add Attribute types to a Definition...

- Select a Definition from the drop-down list.
- Click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/addqueryicon.png in the Attribute types pane.
- Select an attribute type from the Assign attribute type drop-down list and define a set of rules for a given attribute type.
- Select the Add to existing attribute types or Set as new attribute type radio button.
- Select the Match all of the conditions (AND) or Match any of the conditions (OR) radio button and set the matching criteria.
- Click the Next button.The Assign attribute types complete dialog is displayed.

If you want to reuse attributes types from an existing definition, select a definition from the Definition drop-down list and then click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/addqueryicon.png in the Attribute types pane.
- Select an attribute type from the Assign attribute type drop-down list and define a set of rules for a given attribute type.
- Select the Add to existing attribute types or Set as new attribute type radio button.

- Enter a name of the new definition and click OK.
Tip
You can also enter the name of an existing definition to overwrite it.
