The Create Load and Stage wizard enables you to generate load and stage tables for a data vault model.
To generate load and stage for data vault...
- Select an model version and select REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/cube.png Generate load and stage from the Workflow pane.
The Generate load and stage for data vault - Model definition dialog is displayed.
REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Wizards/generateloadstage.png
- Select a Category or a Model, enter a Name and Version for the new model and click Create.
Tip
If you select a Model then you only need to enter a Version.
- The Generate load and stage for data vault - Apply model conversion dialog is displayed.
- REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Wizards/generateloadstage1.png
- Complete the following, if required...
- Click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/addqueryicon.png to add a new model conversion entry.
- Select a new rule from the drop down list.
- Click REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Common_Icons/undo.png to reset to the default settings.
- Drag the handle to reorder the model conversions.
- Click Next.
The Generate load and stage for data vault - copy model dialog is displayed.
REPLACE WITH THIS IMAGE: Images/Wizards/generateloadstage2.png
- Click Finish.
The diagram is displayed.
