Creating an Entity View

To create a view of a table in the diagram...

1. Right-click on the header part of the table and select Table>Create view.

1. The Create view dialog is displayed.

1. Complete the following:
   • Enter a View name and click the Update button to update the surrogate key.
   • To Remove a prefix or a suffix from all columns, enter the syntax you want to remove and click Apply.
   • To Add a prefix or a suffix to all columns, enter the syntax you want to add and click Apply.
2. The Table View will be displayed in the diagram.
