Managing Target Location Descriptors

To create a Target Location Descriptor...

1. Select Tools>Target location descriptors.
   
2. The Target location descriptors dialog is displayed.
   
3. Select a repository and click to Add a target location descriptor.
   
4. Enter a Target location name and click OK. The target location descriptor is added.
5. From the RDBMS drop-down list, select the appropriate relational database management system or enter a new database management system name.
   

   Note

   Even though the RDBMS field is a drop-down list, you can type a database management system name (if it is not in the list).

   
6. Click OK.

   Icons	Description
   	Click to Edit the selected target location descriptor.
   	Click to make a Copy of the selected target location descriptor.
   	Click to Delete the selected target location descriptor.
