Objectives

In this exercise, you will create a copy of a supplied application. Later you will make small changes to this application in order to deploy a patch and then a new version. This application maintains employee records.

To achieve this objective, you must:

Use Visual LANSA installed as a Slave Workstation, connected to an IBM i Master. The Employees Application will run as a client against the IBM i server. See Deploy to a Windows Server if you want to deploy to a Windows Server.

Step 1. Import the Supplied Employees Application

Step 2. Copy the Supplied Employee Application

Step 3. Test the Client Server Application
