1. Install and configure the Workstation TCP/IP Software on both the client and host.
2. Specify the Workstation communication extensions Listener options on the host.
3. Specify the Workstation communication extensions paths and options on both the client and host.

TCP/IP with a Linux host

1. Configure TCP/IP on the Linux Server.
2. Install and configure the Workstation TCP/IP Software.
3. Specify the Communication Extensions Listener options on the host.
4. Specify the Workstation communication extensions paths and options on the client.
