Step 1. Import the supplied Employee Application

1.   Click Import to populate your local repository with the following components:
      If you haven't already done this in a previous exercise, download the Deployment Tool Stand Alone Employee Application (Stand_Alone_Application.zip) from the link at the bottom of the tutorial front page. Look for the text:

2.   Extract the zip file into an empty folder. The file contains an export of the Stand Alone Employee Application forms and reusable parts.
3.   In Visual LANSA select the Tools ribbon and click on the Import button. Locate the folder containing the export files, select the file lxxdir.del and click Open. The Contents to import dialog will contain 1 form and 4 reusable parts. Component names are prefixed ST_.
4.   Click Import to populate your local repository with the following components:
5.   Extract the contents of the zip file into a new folder.
6.   Click Import to populate your local repository with the following components:
      ST_MAIN – Main Form
      ST_BRWSR – Object Browser
      ST_DATA – Data Object
      ST_EDIT – Document Editor
      ST_STORE – Data Store
