3.7 Table Attributes

When a table is defined in the Repository, some operating system specific table "attributes" that influence how the table is to be set up and used can be specified. Some of the attributes influence:

• How big the table is allowed to be
• When the table is to be recovered after a system failure
• Whether space should be allocated for the table when it is created
• Whether or not the table is to be under commitment control
