The majority of these settings relate to IBM i partitions and have no meaning for Visual LANSA. Except for Enable Task Tracking they are not used with Visual LANSA partitions.

When you create a partition on the IBM i, the following indicators are all set to No. To set them to Yes, (that is, enable them) you must do via LANSA for i on an IBM i.

In summary:

• On a slave system you MUST maintain tasks on the IBM i. Create/update/delete tasks are not available via the Visual LANSA Editor.
• It is not available with a VCS Master.
• On an independent system you MUST maintain tasks in Visual LANSA.
