If you are using LANSA Client for the first time, you must create a LANSA Client environment as described in this guide. The environment is a file and it needs to be copied to each PC on which LANSA Client will be run. The LANSA Client environment defines the host connections and the default settings, such as language, to be used. Refer to the Create a LANSA Client Environment for details.
If you are new to LANSA Client, we recommend that you become familiar with LANSA Client by working through the LANSA Client Tutorials. You must first install or import the files used for the tutorials. Setting up the files is described in Set up the Tutorial files on an IBMÂ i Host or set up the Tutorial files on a Windows Host in the LANSA Client User Guide.
