This value only applies to WEBEVENT functions executing on an IBM i server.

The value must be a valid 5-character long IBM CCSID, or 00000, which means using the same CCSID as the associated LANSA for the Web job is using.

The appropriate CCSID may vary depending on which version of i5/OS or Apache you are using.

Typically, Apache versions prior to 2.4 will work with 00000.

Typically, 2.4 (or later) Apache versions require a specific CCSID like 01250 or 00819, usually matching the DefaultNetCCSID of the Apache server’s configuration.

If you have problems, usually indicated by an XML data island error type of error, try using 00000 and 00819 to start.
