VLF-WIN processes child business objects and peer business objects differently.

VLF-ONE uses a simpler peer and child model, which means that:

• In VLF-ONE, a business object may only be a normal (or 'root') business object, a child, or a peer business object. It cannot be used in multiple roles as it can in VLF-WIN.  
• VLF-ONE peers or children must always have the Allow Selection from Navigation Pane option unchecked. 
• In VLF-ONE, you cannot authorize access to individual peers or children. If you are authorized to access the normal (or 'root') business object, then you are automatically authorized to all its associated peers and all children.
• In VLF-WIN, you can authorize peer and child business objects individually. This is not a valid authorization technique if the authorization information is also to be used in a VLF-ONE deployment.
