The Database Chaining Enabled shows how all SQL Server instances that have cross-database ownership chaining enabled.

This report is not applicable to Azure SQL Database instances. In Amazon RDS instances, the report allows for cross-database chaining via a Parameter option.

The Cross-database chaining security feature implies an increased security risk, consider disabling it on all servers when it is not needed.

Getting Started

Follow these steps to create a report:

  1. Select the Date, Policy, and Baseline options from the Report Settings box.
  2. Click the View Report button to generate your report.
