In order to prevent costly mistakes such as altering something in the production environment, WhereScape 3D uses colored backgrounds.
Depending on which item in the tree or diagram you have selected, the background color of the properties pane will reflect the environment you are working on.
To change a repository background:

1. Right-click on the repository and choose Set background.
   
2. Choose the required background and click OK.
   
3. The Properties pane is now set to the selected background color.
