The LANSA libraries and IFS objects must be backed up with your daily and weekly backups.

Before installing an EPC or Upgrading LANSA for i:

Backup all the LANSA IFS objects and LANSA libraries

LANSA Application Data Files (Partition Libraries)

The application data files, in which end users add, change and delete records, should be backed up daily as a regular housekeeping task as part of your site's security strategy. Failure to backup these files daily could lead to serious or total loss of your business data.
