SQL Safe 9.3 introduces improved secure communication methods and removes support for earlier agent versions. After installing SQL Safe 9.3, you must upgrade all remote servers with the SQL Safe agent installed to version 9.3.

What will happen if the agents are not upgraded?

After upgrading the Management service, older agent versions cannot communicate with the SQL Safe Management Service. While backup and restore policies will still operate, the older agents will not send status updates to the Management Console.
